National Gas Transmission (NGT) has an exciting and important role in net zero and in leading a fair energy transition for the UK. We will do this by developing the green gas system of tomorrow, while delivering the natural gas needs of today. 

The Security function here at National Gas delivers a holistic security service to the whole of the organisation.

Due to continued growth within the Security functions, we are seeking a Senior Penetration Tester to join the team to proactively identify and exploit vulnerabilities within Enterprise and CNI systems to help uncover security weakness to ensure resilience and security of gas transmission nationwide.

You will scope and perform penetration testing and vulnerability research of complex proprietary software and hardware, whilst identifying and assessing vulnerabilities in systems and applications.

This is a hybrid role between Home and Office (Warwick) and the closing date for applications is 30th April 2024

About You

You will have excellent commercial Penetration Testing experience, knowledge of various operating systems and networks, especially experience with Linux, Windows, and Active Directory and be proficient in a programming language such as Python, JavaScript, or C++, and experience of the following: 

• Mobile App (Android + IOS) Penetration test
• Web Application Penetration test
• Internal Infrastructure Penetration test
• External Penetration test
• Code Review and Security Assessment
• Azure and Cloud Assessment
• Phishing Attack
• Breach Simulation
• ICS Assessment
