Key Accountabilities
Help run multiyear & multi million dollars Strategic Efficiency programs for the IT organization working with various stakeholders & department leaders in organizing workshops, capturing ideas and create/run concreate initiatives. Help report the progress of these programs to the leadership/C-Level of the organization. Manage and facilitate alignment of US Information Technology projects with National Grid’s units, including development of business plans for multi-year programs/projects and tracking performance). Responsible for strategic planning, including creating, maintaining, and tracking progress of a multi-year Strategic Business Plan for all of IT organization. Create very complex divestiture models for leadership like by vendor, by initiative etc. to show multi year divestiture savings & actual numbers based on different scenarios. Create models based on jurisdictions like NY, NE and business units like Gas, Electricity. Work closely with all Business and IT teams to provide support on all aspects of scoping, building, and supporting IT platforms. Support demand management process working with PMO and USIT Business Partner Leads. Align key performance indicators with team and company objectives; Apply project management principles in tracking performance across project portfolios. Tools used include Visual Basic, Power BI, ECVT (Alix Partners) and Microsoft excel (advanced), SAP & Salesforce, Oracle and SQL.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communication or foreign equivalent degree. Seven (7) years of related IT consulting experience within the energy utility industry with a focus on managing scope, planning, financial budget/forecast of IT projects, engaging IT Service continuity management and disaster recovery planning, using ITIL & Agile methodologies with ITIL certification (intermediate level), using CRM, SAP, Salesforce, IOT, AI, Data science, Enterprise information management concepts for client applications; consulting business on various Enterprise information management products and databases like Oracle, OpenText Content Suite 16, OpenText Archive server, ICC, OCR, IBM Maximo, RSA Archer product suite, Oracle Primavera Unifier.
