Job Purpose

Reporting to the Manager, Product Reporting, the Reporting Analyst will be a part of a team of trusted advisors who provide guidance and analytical support on internal controls, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and data validation for a variety of complex products and services. This role enables National Grid to grow product and service offerings while driving performance incentives in New York and Massachusetts.

Key Accountabilities

Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Ensure Energy Efficiency and new Products transactional data and internal/external reporting is captured and maintained in an accurate, timely, and complete manner
  • Oversee the process of analyses and business reporting, with regards to Energy Efficiency and new products to ensure that business performance is optimized in line with set objectives
  • Drive improved performance through analysis and advice to internal clients
  • Develop and maintain analytical systems, models, and procedures.
  • Implement operational performance dashboards (e.g. Scorecards) in order to illustrate Customer Operations’ performance against set targets

Qualifications

• 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Finance, Accounting, Business and 2+ years related work experience.
  • Experience with Excel and associated modeling skills
  • Data processing skills, build processes supporting data transformation to support reporting use cases
  • Broad experience in business process improvement
  • Understanding and experience with complex business processes and experience with process improvement methodologies
  • Excellent communicator, internally and externally, at all levels; organizational and teamwork skills.
  • Skilled in managing change and dealing with ambiguity
  • Strong self-motivator, ability to make sense of complex and/or new tasks and translate into a clear plan of action
