About us

Job Purpose

To oversee the daily operations of the security control centre including both people and resource management.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead, motivate and develop security control centre staff.
  • Ensure minimum staffing requirements are met for all shifts.
  • Uphold the protocols and procedures for security operations.
  • Initiate notifications to corporate security management using best judgement regarding critical incidents.
  • Provide training to newly hired as well as current security staff to maintain a consistent approach to processing all tasks.
  • Monitor and report on the operation of systems to ensure that security systems are intact.
  • Strongly contribute to maintenance and periodic testing of business continuity plan.

Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required

  • Train and guide staff on security procedures and protocol.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study (desirable)
  • Work experience in law enforcement or the military
