Job Purpose

In order to take our position as leaders of a clean energy future, we set aggressive efficiency and carbon reduction targets across the business. To reach those targets, we’re adopting new technologies on the grid and in the office and aligning our people to one vision of what it means to drive change in the utility industry. We are asking people to change the way they work and the way they think and that’s where you come in.

As the Lead Change Manager, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the organization. You are an internal change practitioner, coach, ambassador and role model for a transformational team and you will help us build a movement to fundamentally change our US business. Your focus will be to support the business through a critical evolution, build buy-in and commitment to that change, while developing an enduring longer-term capability. To lead programs that deliver outcomes outlined for an entity in terms of annual performance objectives and ensure the continued delivery of improved performance and innovation.

Key Accountabilities

Requirements (including, but not limited to):

  • Facilitating meetings across all levels of organization, including groups of senior leaders
  • Engage with stakeholders across the organization to help them adapt to new changes and embrace transformational goals
  • Provide coaching to leaders at various levels of the organization as they lead others through change
  • Identify the change impacts to individuals and groups and develop change plans that will help teams embrace the change
  • Design and deliver interventions to help stakeholders respond and adapt to change impacts
  • Partner with internal and external experts to design, develop and implement targeted communications campaigns
  • Use a structured, data-driven approach to measure and report on effectiveness of change interventions and approaches
  • Identify training needs to create and support the implementation of targeted training plans

Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Flexible and adaptable – able to build rapport easily and flex their style to suit different audiences
  • Emotionally intelligent and self-aware – able to read the room and respond to reactions in others
  • Excellent facilitation skills in virtual and live environments
  • Demonstrated ability in relationship/stakeholder management to ensure mutually beneficial business outcomes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant area with at least 5 years of related experience
  • Ability to successfully prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Strong decision making and time management skills
  • Able to translate strategy, challenges, and emerging priorities into action
  • Project Management or Agile certification preferred
  • Expertise in all Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Valid Driver's license required
