Job Purpose

Our team is responsible for development and governance of the optimal New England electric capital investment plan aligned with the operational needs, regulatory priorities, and performance commitments of the company.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the development of a 10-year capital investment plan in line with operational needs, regulatory priorities, and performance commitments
  • Develop effective reporting methods and provide insightful recommendations to senior leaders
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and assist in their understanding of strategic business decisions
  • Propose innovative ways of working with stakeholders to drive efficiency and overall performance excellence
  • Understand and apply operational regulatory agreements and provide support with regulatory filings
  • Champion the adoption of digital initiatives to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency of the long term investment plan

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance required
  • 3+ years of financial analysis experience required
  • Utility experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required
  • Experience with advanced reporting tools such as Power BI preferred
  • Primavera P6, PowerPlan, and SAP experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license required and a safe driving history as per National Grid Policy

$103.000 - $115,000 a year

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Internal candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
